AHDDI offers free Train2XL Vocational Skills Acquisition training to women and youths in Delta State. This opportunity develops the ability of participants to move ahead quickly and become self-dependent. Train2XL offers skills in Computer and Mobile Phone Repair, Solar PV Installation, Cane Furniture Production, Acting and Screen Writing, Generator and Plant Repair, Baking and Decorating, Computer Graphics, Art, Photography/Videography, Metal Fabrication and other areas addressing specific business and employment opportunities to the less privileged youths and those who cannot afford the heavy cost of training to gain skills. Train2XL promotes Skills Acquisition through Vocational and Entrepreneurial Training.
Entrepreneurial Skills Training takes place at our training centres located at First Floor Chief Uso Plaza, Opposite Word of Faith School, Ezenei Road, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. Our Trainees are then sent off to apprenticeship/industrial for core skills training with professional skills trainers. This is part of our vision to help reduce the menace of unemployment and get our youths off the streets.

Our mission

• To achieve the dream of a State that works for all and attracts investments, visitors and tourists. AHDDI promotes the collective consciousness of an Organization that listens, cares and acts on issues to achieve best outcomes for everyone.

• AHDDI objectives are shaped around issues identified by the local peoples in their daily lives in addition to issues identified by people in the diaspora that makes many reluctant to visit home. The amalgamation of issues on both sides is the point where we find common grounds to start the 'conversation' and proffer solutions. This is what AHDDI is all about.

Our vision

· To raise awareness of the power within us to bring about solutions that would change our communities through joint efforts by all both home and in the diaspora.
· To educate and engage the public concerning the causes, effects and means of
eradication of poverty
· To emphasise the power to use our electoral votes as our voices and instruments of change while remaining non-partisan and non-political.
· To promote the spirit of unity and one purpose in restoring our State to greater heights of political, economic, educational and socio-cultural glories.
· To contribute to the development of Youths through Skills Acquisition Project, Job Creation and Micro-Credit facilities in order to reduce youth restiveness and cultism.
· To promote joint working relationships, eliminate unhealthy competition and project duplication among youth groups.
· To maximize resources and promote leadership skills and abilities among our Youths
· To promote Women health, education and economic empowerment
· To promote Gender equality in education, employment and economic resources

THE RESULTS EXPECTED FROM THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAIN2XL

Train2XL is designed to offer free entrepreneurship-driven training programmes and skills acquisition that creates business and employment opportunities for unemployed and unemployable youths. The expected result is to produce entrepreneurs who would take advantage of and expand on business opportunities. Employment creation is then enhanced through the turning out of skilled technicians and business minded entrepreneurs thereby reducing the pool of jobseekers. Train2XL is also designed to empower the youths and women economically to create sustainable sources of livelihoods thereby making Skills acquisition an effective poverty alleviation strategy.

Since inception in 2018, Train2Xl has trained 74 Skilled Technicians in various fields. We have assisted some of them to register their businesses and given out various tools for work. We continue to provide support services to all our trained technicians while sourcing government assisted loans and grants in addition to industrial placements through creating synergy with multi-governmental agencies and leading industries in the private sector.
